Volunteer Information
It takes more than 250 volunteers over the course of several days to stage the Breezy Point Triathlon.   There are a variety of jobs available.  If you are interested in volunteering, please click on one of the Volunteer Links below to view a description of your duties as well as when we would need you.  All volunteers will receive a T-shirt for helping out as well as being invited to the post-race party where they may enjoy plenty of food and beverages.

HOW TO SIGN UP:
The easiest way to register as a volunteer is to download a Volunteer Registration Form  in Word format by clicking on the link below. Fill in all of the information, save it and then forward it as an attachment to our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@breezypointtri.com.
PLEASE NOTE:   All volunteers must be registered with the race in order to access Naval Station Norfolk on race day. We will mail gate passes to you approximately 1-2 weeks before the event. Unless you have DoD decals on your vehicle, you will be required to have one of our gate passes to get on base. Therefore, to allow gate passes to reach you by mail in time, please register before May 20th.
Volunteer Registration Form:
  1. Download the file below to your disk.
  2. Fill in all of the requested information using Word.
  3. Save the document after entering your information.
  4. Send the document as an attachment to our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@breezypointtri.com
  5. Shortly after we process your application, you will receive a confirmation from us (either by mail or e-mail) with more specifics.
  6. 1-2 weeks before the race you will receive final information concerning your specific position along with your gate passes by mail.
